35 over bash on a lovely ground, what more could you ask for. Thanks to all that played in a great spirit. We fielded first against a strong batting pair but Oscar bowled fantastically well without luck and was very ably supported by Ben Andrews who picked up a wicket with an excellent Luca Parker catch. The opening partnership did not dampen the spirit of Ware who stuck to it in the field. Justen bowled well and Steve Price was too getting 2 wickets with no runs conceded. Luca was the next with a wicket with him and Will restricting the runs but it was down to Jamie to mop up the tail with 3 ! Tom Parker batted superbly falling just short of another 50 but was short of support until the Prices took over and the almost won us the game with a fantastic display in a partnership of 57.steve departed for 34 but George carried his bat for an immensely impressive 42! We finished 10 runs short.
